Joël Ben-Yehoshua is an active associate in the project.

Joël Ben-Yehoshua has received a doctoral scholarship from the Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk (ELES) starting on 1 October 2024. He will remain associated with the project as an active member and researcher of the database.
In his dissertation he examines the dynamics involved in the discussion about anti-Semitism in the work of Johann Gottlieb Fichte (1762-1814) as well as the transformation and secularization of Christian hostility towards Jews in Fichte’s post-Enlightenment work. He studied physics (B.Sc.) and philosophy (M.A.) at Philipps University in Marburg and Universidad Complutense de Madrid. From September 2020 to July 2022, he was a research assistant with the Department of Research and Antisemitism Thuringia (RIAS Thüringen) at the Institute for Democracy and Civil Society (IDZ) in Jena, where he studied present-day anti-Semitism in Thuringia. He has been an affiliated scholar at IDZ since August 2022.
