
Dr. Hannah Peaceman

Dr. Hannah Peaceman is a research assistant and managing director of the project (on maternity leave/parental leave, expected to be from October 2025 to April 2026).
In her postdoctoral research project, she works on the embeddedness of philosophical terms and arguments in societal relations in the context of the question „How to deal with…?“. She focuses on the constructions of so-called ‘others’ and examines them in their relation. In 2020, she received her PhD on the potential of Jewish perspectives for political philosophy from Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, University of Erfurt (Die Dialektik der Emanzipation, Klostermann 2021). Peaceman is co-editor of the journal Jalta – Positionen zur jüdischen Gegenwart.
